Job description- Accountant Assistant

• We are searching for a motivated Accounting assistant who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing support to the Accounting Department.

• Maintain digital and physical financial records.

• Create and update expense reports.

• Support duties related to accounts payable and account receivable functions.

• Assist with the preparation of financial and statistical statements and reports.

• Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies

• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.

• Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries

• Managing petty cash transactions.

• Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.

• Assisting with budgets.
• Managing day-to-day transactions

• Familiarity with basic accounting principles.

• Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.

• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.

• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.

• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently on assigned duties

• At a minimum, an Associates degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or similar field. Bachelors degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be substituted.
