Job Purpose and Impact
The Compensation Leader will develop and mature the processes, tools, and governance needed to maximize the impact of Cargill’s short-term incentive and recognition programs across the organization. In this role, you will directly support Cargill’s growth goals by leveraging deep expertise in sales incentive principles and practices to build organizational capabilities and facilitate strategic design outcomes with commercial leaders globally. You will work closely with commercial leaders, finance, total rewards and human resources leaders to ensure that variable compensation programs are successfully driving the pay for performance culture needed.
Key Accountabilities
Develop, mature and deploy the strategies, processes, organizational connectivity and governance needed to effectively implement Cargill’s sales incentives and recognition programs globally.
Clarify roles and responsibilities for HR resources to support this work.
Equip business stakeholders to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of sales incentives.
Support the annual target setting process governing all incentive programs globally and ensure proper alignment with Cargill strategies and annual priorities.
Develop and maintain key internal/external relationships, which may include: commercial leaders, finance, business human resource professionals and total rewards.
Champion a strong continuous improvement culture to ensure deployment of scalable, simplified and standardized processes.
Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of six years of related work experience
Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or other post-secondary degree
Driven process and program/resource/capacity management of compensation priorities and initatives
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a lean environment
Experience in learning, designing and implementing new and / or improved processes
Three or more years of sales compensation experience
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) certification
