Primary Purpose of Role

To get the production done as per production plan from Production team with right quality, Optimum utilization of Manpower and with desired numbers of Efficiency and Wastages.

To support Utilities to entire plant and achieve

1) Plant efficiency 2) Compliance of PM schedule 3) Spares Management 4) R&M Budget tracking. 5) Report Updation.

Key Decision Making in this Role:

1)Manpower Arrangement 2) Spares Purchase with the help of Procurement dept 3) PM and BD planning and decision basis equipment condition.

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

• Manage all Production activities, track against plans and achieve targeted production volume of the right quality within planned costs and as per ABP,

• Responsibility for production planning and control.

• Responsibility for control of annual plant budgets related to Production and Engineering .

• Manage and provide participative guidance to the engineering function to ensure good upkeep of all equipment and assets within established standards to assure safeguarding of capital investment

• Manage & Guide the maintenance team and drive implementation of initiatives in plant maintenance to ensure reduction in unplanned downtime.

• Direct responsibility for coaching, feedback and development of plant personnel.

• Direct responsibility for discipline in the work force.

• Direct responsibility for safety of personnel, facilities and equipment. Ensure that the operation is run with the highest standards of safety, occupational health and environment protection.

• Direct responsibility for allocation of available resources including manpower and achieving the budgeted manpower budget.

• Responsibility to implement the safety systems in the plant area.

• Responsibility for identifying improvement projects, getting approval and executing the same.

• Responsibility for initiating small group activities and continuous improvements. and strive to continuously improve upon productivity standards in material usage and labor hours. Plan key initiatives to achieve significant improvements in Operational Asset Utilization.

• Responsible for the cleanliness of personal work areas.

• Adhering to HACCP requirements

• Adhering to Full compliance of state and central government requirement as per factory , explosive , pollution act .

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor of Mechanical / Electrical Engineering OR Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

10-12 Yrs

Knowledge about ERP and Computer skills.
