Implementation/Installation of Backup software Commvault 11, Commvault Snap protect (IntelliSnap)Configure & troubleshoot creating Storage policies, Sub client policies, and Schedule policies.Creating policy, scheduling backup jobs, installing client etc.Configure backups for File system, VMWare, MS SQL, Oracle RAC and non-RAC, NDMPInstallation & Configuring of different types of backup agents like, File System, SQL, OracleUse IntelliSnap backup on Commvault for Oracle RAC, SQL , VMware Datastore and OVM RepositoryRestoration of various types of backups like File System, SQL, VMware and Oracle Virtual MachinesOracle Data base and VMware server’s backup and restoration.Experience in configuring Database backups and restoration, VSA and IntelliSnap backups.Library Management: Monitoring the Disk storage and addressing to appropriate team to add/clear space. Troubleshooting issues with the Media Agent, mount paths and Libraries.Configuration of Media Agents on Windows and Linux.Commvault upgrades, apply Service Pack and Hotfix deploymentConfiguring & managing Auxiliary copy backups from Disk to tape.CommVault Disaster recovery backup replication to remote media and DR siteGenerate backup reportTroubleshoot failed backups

Perform Storage allocation, deallocation, decommission and zoning as per requirement.Configure and Manage SnapMirror / SnapVault replication between NetApp Clusters.Experience in snapshots operation and recoveryCreation/deletion of snapshot, extend Volume and LUN size.Respond to critical and non-critical storage events, prioritize all storage related tasks as appropriateReclaiming unused/unwanted space.Report storage utilization and consumption including historical trending using OCUM / Performance Manager.
