Application / Team Overview:
From Shared Technology Environment(STE) we handle all administrative activities for a variety of middleware technologies. We also provide development support for hundreds of applications. This particular role is created for Content Management Administrative and development support. Our primary function is to engineer and implement technology solutions that will help application teams avoid production outages and produce quality software. Our STE services include below.

Engineering
Onboarding
Reusable Tools
Environment Automation
License Management
SME support along with advanced troubleshooting
Design and Code Reviews
Initiatives that improve productivity and result in efficiencies
POCs and adoption of new products
Interact with SA, dba, developers and product and send requests to Architecture

Role Description:
All STE Services listed above
Design and Develop tools to standardize and automate monitoring , application support activities.
Technical support to applications on trouble shooting Environment, software and application level issues
Write, test programs using Unix Shell scripting, oracle PL/SQL programming ; Perform unit testing.
Partner with cross functional teams across Development, Validation/QC, Production.
Develop and manage interface to enable faster onboarding of Applications onto MicroStrategy Shared Technology Environments
Infrastructure procurement, build servers, setup Shared Technology Environment and administration.
Creating, scheduling and Managing Jobs using Autosys.
Design and setup of server/Environment monitoring on ITRS
Managing support services and change management using Servicenow application

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer/IT/Electronics)

Technical / Functional Proficiency:
Knowledge/Experience:
Minimum of 8 years Content Management development/administration experience
Experience in MicroStrategy
Experience in Impala integration
Experience in Arcadia integration
Experience in configuring, executing and monitoring in Geneos Console
Experience in Unix Shell scripting
Strong ability to work in a highly focused technical environment together with other motivated and driven professionals, as well as the ability to work independently.
Team management and leadership experience and prior COE experience is required.
Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
