Responsibilities:
Supervises a quality team (consisting of support staff and/or entry level analysts).
Evaluates subordinates’ performance and considerable weight is given to recommendations made for pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions.
Improves process efficiencies in support of unit objectives; recommends new work procedures.
Gathers metrics related to the cost, effort and milestones of IT Quality activities.
Exhibits good understanding of procedures and concepts within own area and a basic knowledge of other areas.
Requires a good understanding of how the team integrates with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
Allocates work and checks on quality and completion. Uses judgment based on practice and previous experience.
Has direct impact on the team and closely related teams by ensuring the quality of tasks/services provided by self and others.
Exchanges ideas and information in a concise and logical way; recognizes audience diversity.
Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
0-2 years experience in requirement reviews & able to identify, communicate and document discrepancies.
Understanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
Understanding of Quality Processes
Demonstrated logical analysis skills, attention to detail and problem solving
Proven ability to meet deadlines.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
QA Experience in defining, designing & executing test cases
Specific software languages will be required depending of area of business
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
