Citigroup Hiring for Senior Tableau Engineer at Chennai, India Full Time

Job Description

We are looking for a tableau developer responsible for conceiving and conducting requirements gathering and translating them into tableau story-boards, wireframes and prototypes. Required to design and implement overall functionality of the product and iterate upon it to ensure a great user experience.

Responsibilities

•Translate concepts into tableau wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.

•Facilitate client’s product visions by analyzing, researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for applications within Tableau Interface, applying extensions, Tableau components.

•Visualize data metrics, work flow and functional flow through high end dash boarding/ Data Visualization.

•Design and deliver user stories, user journeys from use cases and mockups optimized for a wide range of applications.

•Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.

•Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

•Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.

•Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.

•Compliant to company policies and should adhere code of conduct.

Requirements

•A strong portfolio to demonstrate craft and exposure.

•8+ years of Tableau development with Extensions experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for banking and finance domain.

•Ability to work with clients/stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet the objectives.

•Extensive experience in using best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.

•A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, usability, heurisitic and accessibility concerns.

•Ability to iterate the designs, test & deploy solutions efficiently and intelligently.

•Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.

•Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them.

•Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
