Job Summary

• Serve as a senior quality engineer for Comcast data products. * Develop and code the testing services that is core to Comcast, under the leadership of the Chief Architect * Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases * Work with product team and other senior level engineers * Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities * Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools * Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs * Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

Job Description

• Bachelor¹s degree in Computer Science or related field

• 5-10+ years of software development experience, as a quality engineer or manager

• Proven working experience in software quality assurance

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Solid experience in Test Automation

• Strong background in Java

• Experience with Selenium Web Driver required

• Experience with Cucumber

• Experience testing front end web applications

• Experience in API testing and automation

• Frameworks a big plus

• Solid background in SQL

• Proven working experience in software quality assurance

• Experience with Jira or other bug tracking systems.

• Experience with Big data testing methodology a big plus

• Self-directed, ability to multi-task, sharp analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills

• Results oriented, high energy, self-motivated
