The role

We are seeking an experienced Systems and Network Administrator to join our team and maintain our organization’s computer systems, servers, and networks. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-10 years of experience and a strong technical background in managing Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP servers, Linux servers, network switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi controllers and access points, storage area networks, Microsoft 365, VMware Vcenter and ESXi hosts, and NGINX server.

Responsibilities
As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and availability of our computer systems, servers, and networks. You will manage and monitor our network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and access points. You will also configure and manage our Windows and Linux servers, including user and group management, file system operations, package management, and network services such as Samba, NFS, and LDAP.
Additionally, you will be responsible for managing our Active Directory environment, including creating and managing domain user accounts, group policies, and domain trusts. You will also configure and manage our DNS and DHCP servers to ensure reliable network communication.
You will work closely with our team to configure and manage Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint and Exchange Online. You will also configure and manage VMware Vcenter and ESXi hosts to ensure optimal virtualization performance.
You will have a proactive approach to problem-solving and be able to prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team. You will also have a willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
Administration of Storage Devices like NAS, Storage controllers etc.
ELK Clusters (Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana) management and administration
Must-haves
Minimum 6-10 years of experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
Expertise in managing Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP servers, and Linux servers.
Strong technical background in managing network switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi controllers and access points, storage area networks, Microsoft 365, VMware Vcenter and ESXi hosts, and NGINX server.
Ability to configure and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, including VLANs, switching, routing, STP, and ACLs
Knowledge of firewall technologies, including Dial-In VPN, SSL VPN, link monitoring, NAT, and rules configuration
Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and managing Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint and Exchange Online
Ability to configure and manage VMware Vcenter and ESXi hosts to ensure optimal virtualization performance.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
