From “What to cook?” decision paralysis to lack of time and the whole planning process, there are about a dozen reasons that are not letting people cook as much as they want to.We are here to address those obstacles at scale by building the ultimate cooking platform for home cooks, foodies, and cooking enthusiasts.In 15 months from launch, Cookd has created a content repository of over 850 recipes and a social media follower base of over 1.2 Million. And we are just getting started! While our recipe content is going to grow forever to help everyone with “What to cook?”, we are now moving on to make the actual cooking process easier and better.Role: We are looking for a Cinematographer to join our team and work alongside our existing team of video editors and content creators who make amazing content with food.Responsibilities: 1. To set up the shooting environment, shoot the food recipe videos and varieties of video content2. To copy the shot content from the memory card to the Hard disk and also create a backup of it.3. To do the photoshoot for the Ecommerce products and also shoot ad videos for Social Media promotions.4. Editing and retouching of Food photos shot during the video shoot5. Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the cinematography field.Skills and requirements: 1. Should be creative and be in a constant pursuit to create appealing and engaging content2. Ability to coordinate with the team, understand the requirements and come up with desired video content.3. Should have a good understanding of lighting techniques4. Willingness to learn and not afraid to constantly push the boundaries.5. Great attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables.6. Ability to deliver high-quality output within set deadlines.7. Should have good written and verbal communication skills.8. Ability to use Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive, and other collaborative SAAS tools.9. A good sense of food photography and photo editing is a bonusAnd before you ask, yes! Whatever we cook for shooting our recipe videos, it’s all hogged by us : -) Besides the indulgence, we do Football Wednesdays that will make sure you sweat it out physically and Poker Fridays that would eventually make you as good as Harvey Specter or James Bond ;-)Job Type: Full-time
