The Product Support Engineer is responsible for handling customer product inquiries and issues via telephone, email or chat sessions.
In this role you will…
· Provide multi-channel support to internal and external clients (telephone, email, chat and other online channels) in a 24*7 rotation work environment.
· Leverage all available resources to accurately and efficiently document customers’ issues and related resolutions.
· Troubleshoot problems related to product applications, functions, installation, integration, and configuration.
· Assist with varying multiple customer-impacting projects.
· Provide input on frequently asked questions documents; and create, review and update knowledge base articles.
· Guide customers through product upgrades and installations.
· Document complex issues for escalation to more senior support specialists.
· Consideration of privacy and security obligations
You’ve got what it takes if you have…
· 1+ years of professional experience in a 24*7 customer support environment delivering outstanding customer service and support in a multichannel enterprise B2B environment
· Technical training or college/university study in information technology
· Experience interacting with clients under stressful circumstances
· Advanced communication skills (oral and written)
· Proven analysis and troubleshooting skills
· An ability to manage deliverables in challenging situations and adapt to timeframes at minimal notice should a need arise.
· Ability to review the information at hand and make decisions with minimal guidance
· Some knowledge of web server technology (such as IIS and Wildfly)
· Some knowledge of database management (query, backup, restore)
