We are currently in search of an Jr. Staff Accountant in our Pune, India office. The position will report to the Senior Finance Manager and will play a key role in our accounting team as we continue to grow quickly and internationally. The best fit for this position would be someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Strong written/communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Review and approve corporate expenses, including review of detailed supporting documentation
- Being part of the team for the preparation of the local statutory financial statement
- Prepare monthly accounts reconciliation
- Work on adhoc reports
- Partner with management to support and understand the business initiatives
- Identify and lead potential cost saving projects that align with Company goals and business development
- Collaborate cross departments to perform ad-hoc analysis to assist with the development and progression and other administrative tasks as required
Qualifications:
- College degree with a BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of progressive experience in Accounting, in a fast pace environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Precision/detail oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and adhere to tight deadlines
- Team player and solid communicator (written and verbal skills); strong interpersonal skills including conscientiousness, diplomacy, flexibility, and dependability; ability to maintain confidentiality
- Trustworthy, positive, energetic, optimistic attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
