• Required Skills
• Have done New product development and aware of industry requirements

• Ability to perform a Metal and Plastic component and structural design to meet product specification

• Ability to design the geometrical architecture of an equipment and to optimize installation issues., preferably on general engineering products such as access gates, ticket vending machines

• Ability to define Functional Dimensioning requirements (operation, aesthetics, assembly, disassembly).

• Ability to define conduct tolerance analysis and fit and finish requirements

• Ability to calculate a stack-up analysis in coherence with manufacturing capabilities.

• Ability to analyze manufacturing non conformity and to validate a back-up solution.

• Have understanding for product costs on a technical solution

• Able to define fasteners and joint design

• Good knowledge of drawing rules and GDT&T using relevant standards

• Able to perform basic calculation on all type of mechanical assemblies & analyze results.

• Good knowledge of material properties, heat treatment methods and surface coating solutions

Responsibility

• Is accountable for the Delivery of Engineering design for industrial products in compliance to identified standards

• Organizes and leads his work package reviews for the project he is in charge

• Contributes to product definition taking into account in weight, layout, acoustics, crash and structural constraints.

• Organizes Design / Verification reviews and provides the associated reports

• Manages Technical Solution, Gaps on application part and Product part in accordance with his domain

• Defines and monitors the deliveries

• Conduct self and team’s internal quality checks and ensure the accuracy and consistency all across deliveries.

• Manages Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plan

• Technically lead projects, direct & guide team members and interface with internal stake holders and customer leadership teams to realize project Q, C and D

Minimum 5+ years in product development for General engineering
Skills & Experience ANSYS Icepak, CATIA v5, Design Processes, Design Techniques, Development Design, Plastics Industry, Plastics Technology, Sheet Metal Design, SolidWorks, UNIGRAPHICS
