Job Description
Able to design Railway Signalling Wayside designs.
Have good Knowledge on Signalling interlocking principles for UK and Indian Railways incuding circuit design and operation, signalling components and the implications of working with other disciplines
UK/Indian Railways signalling Standards knowledge.
Have hands on experience with CAD and related tools.
Signalling Application design experience.
Carry out design and design production checks on Signalling systems as instructed by more senior Engineers.
Preparation of signalling schemes designs, specifications and reports, applying first principles for relevant parts of new or altered signalling systems, to meet client requirements.
Scheme development and Detailed Design. Work content includes: CAD drawing; mentored design of signalling layouts; power calculations and other (i.e. braking distance) spreadsheet work; mentored LOC and REB design; generation and initial evaluation of signalling options and staging; circuit analysis; assistance to technical report writing; interfacing with other disciplines and project and QA administration.
Provide functional support and guidance to the Assistant Design Engineer(s) within the team on all aspects of Signal Design within allocated projects.
Ensure technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of Signalling system work as instructed.
Discharge safety responsibilities in relation to CDM Regulations, Health and Safety legislation, company procedures and standards .
Require Electronics Communication Engineering with 6~8 years of experience

Interlocking, Interlocking system- RRI, Interlocking system- SSI, Network Rail CAD Standards and Procedure
