Job Description

Engineer with degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other field that is pertinent to the industry

6 -9 years of proven CADM application administrator

Administer, Customise & maintain the upgrades of the PDM tools like Windchill & EPDM

Execute release in PTC Windchill as per the CR/ Solutions defined by R&D in collaboration with CFT

Support in creation of Bill of materials (BOMs) defining multiple levels

Review of Part Numbers, maintaining structure with Documents and it’s master data.

Ensure that the defined standards are adhered to while executing the specification in the configuration management systems

Expertise in configuration management techniques & tooling; keeps it up-to-date and propagates it.

Contribute to handshakes from R&D to factory.

Understand the product catalogs, Variants and look for the appropriate linkages within the BOMs

Responsible at project start-up to define together with project manager and architect the configuration management environment, tooling and way of working.

Gain E2E knowledge of Windchill/SAP with a focus on Regulatory, Service and Procurement.

Participate in Windchill and SAP UATs. (User acceptance Tests)

Should be able to train the end users on CAD applications like Creo & Solidworks

Understand the business requirement & setup & support the business user to meet requirements

Maintain the multi site servers & their synchronization
