As a constantly growing company, Danfoss is looking for motivated employees who want to work with us on our success. We are seeking a Lead Technician Test Metrology to join our diverse team. The employee will be part of the Danfoss Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and will report to Head of Hydraulics test lab. This position will be responsible for Metrology lab technical tasks including operating and maintaining equipment’s as well as inspection.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Program set up & operate CMM, Contour, CNC Vision, 3D scanner and other standard metrology instruments in order to make regular, complex and precise measurements of components.
• Measurement of prototypes and suggest modifications if required
• Ability to use 3D CAD software’s.
• Verify conformance of parts to specifications & blueprints with respect to measurements
• Monitoring & servicing systems, diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment.
• Establishes specific testing procedures based on different detailed drawings & technical specifications.
• Calibrate and repair electronic and physical/dimensional equipment traceable to NIST standards.
• Requires basic mechanical aptitude including ability to read engineering drawings and interpret dimensions, tolerances and assembly notes
• Understanding of basic problem-solving skills, including statistical analysis, and ability to use these tools to drive root cause identification and problem solving

• 3+ years’ experience in quality assurance/Quality control
