In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank’s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Job Purpose

To provide strategic and operational support for CBGO governance with respect to operational risk discipline, operating controls, transformation/change management, cost governance, metrics and analytics.

Key Accountabilities

• Ops processes well supported by detailed and upto-date process documents
• Timely and smooth implementation of various tech changes and improvements resulting in better efficiency and controls in ops
• Robust risk management and reporting framework including better operational risk awareness and sustainable controls resulting in better audit results and NIL risk incidents
• 100% compliance to Outsourcing Risk Governance related requirements and nil non-compliance related exceptions
• Meet cost targets, productivity targets and improve sustainably

Job Duties & responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include

• Responsibility for process design and ongoing annual review of process documentation / SOPs
• Operations change management function for CBGO [process changes, tech / system changes, User Stories, Test Scripts, UAT, Regression] for strategic and tactical initiatives and also for all new product/process launches
• Operational risk governance and controls, leveraging on data insights
• Vendor governance [SDM / SDMM]
• Cost governance, budgets and HC tracking, drive efficiency improvement
• Staff/team productivity (eMTK) and metrics measurement & drive improvement
• Client servicing (Turnaround, Quality) and demand management – oversight and governance

Experience

• 15 years experience in Banking Ops management and governance especially in Consumer Banking
• Working knowledge of operations processes, risks and controls

Education / Preferred Qualifications

• Basic: Graduate/Post Graduate degree from reputed institution / university

• Co-ordinate with BU, NDS & Product functions for product/process actions
• Co-ordinate with tech teams for change delivery
• Manage PD, OR, MI & SDM teams within CBGO
