Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank’s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Roles & Responsibilities

Deep understanding of data modelling in data warehouse and Hadoop based data stores
Provider- AND consumer-side programming using Java Web Services/ Restful Services with SOAP/ XML is added advantage
Good understanding of CI/ CD stack including build/deployment tools like SCM (GIT, Bitbucket), Maven, ANT
Must be organized, able to work with minimal supervision, flexible to work on different projects in a rapidly changing environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels with demonstrated ability to influence different stakeholders

Requirements

Min 15 years of experience with Hadoop/Spark.
The candidate should have 14 year’s working experience in IT projects.
Experience in Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Elasticsearch and other open-source software on big data processing
The candidate should have at least 4 year’s working experience in Banking data warehouse development or Financial regulatory or Financial MIS reporting area.
Experience with Spring Boot, Spring, hibernate is an added advantage
Expertise in Core Java, Collections, Lambda Function and Stream API
Good Knowledge and experience in Oracle or SQL Server, Maria DB
The candidate should have at least 4 year’s hands-on experience in spark core or spark SQL (Alternatively, if the candidate had more than 5 year’s hands-on experience in Oracle 11g/12C, and not less than 2 years hands-on experience in spark core or spark SQL or python spark or python pandas
Experience in supporting Group Finance function is a plus
Certifications in relevant skills (e.g., big data etc.) will be an advantage
