REQUIREMENTS:
B.Lib required
Minimum 1-2 years of experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize all library resources so that they are easy to locate
Evaluate library inventory needs and place orders for books, journals and other resources
Cataloging and keeping track of library materials, memberships and number of books borrowed by a person
Conducting activities to inculcate reading habits
Conducting read-aloud and reading fluency workshops
Identify technology needs and make recommendations
Assist library visitors in conducting research and locating resources
Organizing author-meets, where children get to talk to their favorite writer
Budget monitoring, data mining and report writing, documenting success stories
Arranging for rewards for the children who complete 10th/40th/80th and 100th books’ reading
