What you’ll achieve As a member of DAA (Data, Analytics and Automation) organization, this role is responsible for providing data engineering and analytical support to Dell Supply Chain Organization by building data solutions and providing insight to support data driven business decisions. You will:

• Perform exploratory data analysis, design & develop analytical data solutions, data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility, and fostering data-driven decision making across supply chain processes.
• Distill formal/informal requirements into problem definitions, dealing with ambiguity and competing objectives.
• Provide innovative & business applicable data visualization using visualization tool – Power BI.
• Design, build and launch data ETL processes, maintain databases, ETL jobs, cleansing and validating data as needed data, support existing processes running in production.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or technical area such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional experience on data warehouse, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT development, data structures and reporting/analytics tools and environments.
• Database management systems with proficiency in data mining, data transformation ((DDL, DML, procedural) and database building (ETL, SQL, OLAP, SSIS, SSAS)
• Able to gather and process data at scale; design and develop data applications using selected tools (Greenplum /PostgreSQL/Teradata/MSSQL, Python) and frameworks.
• Highly skilled in SQL and working knowledge in coding in one of the languages – Python, T-SQL, PL/pgSQL highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills through data visualizations, written and oral presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences, active listening and able to deliver clear and concise presentations.
• Experience working with business functions and understanding requirements and translating them into technical/functional language.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with code versioning, CI/CD tools.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum setup of work.
