What you’ll achieve
As a Software Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions. It provides disk based data protection with excellent storage efficiency using it’s unique In-line Data De-Duplication technology. Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software/storage environments and Work in a distributed-team environment using Agile methodologies
• Prepares written software/storage specifications for complex products from architectural diagrams and documents Develops and reviews design, functional, technical and/or user documentation, as needed
• Design, implement and unit test file system software using C.
• Read and understand design specifications for new functionality, implement software according to design specifications.
• Identify and solve performance and scalability issues involving large data sets, mixed work-load.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience: 5-8 Year in enterprise class software development.
• Experience in C, multi-threading, algorithms, data structures and Unix systems programming.
• Experience in Scripting with Shell or Python.
• Experience in debugging GDB, WinGDB.
• Effective in a fast paced, dynamic team environment.

Desired:

• Experience in Storage system technology (especially File Systems/Volume Manager experience)
• Experience in Linux internals

Education:
Bachelor’s or Masters degree in software engineering.
