Senior Analyst – O365 / Exchange administrator – Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited.
The primary objective of the position is to provide operational support within the Email Services group ensuring that the GTS hosted, and managed Exchange services are highly available.
Work you’ll do
The O365 / Exchange Administrator role requires foundation to advanced skills that enable the individual to deliver a high level of service and to meet the expectation from the business of a highly available agile infrastructure. Foundation to advanced knowledge of Core, Specialized and technical competencies is required, along with a solid understanding of an enterprise IT infrastructure operational environment, adhering to industry best practice.
Responsibilities
Strategic
Exploring ways of improving processes and procedure to support our infrastructure
Assisting with Email technologies roadmap development in conjunction with Microsoft function, Deloitte Business Email and Email service delivery team.
Work alongside the other Email departments, to constantly review and where possible, harden, our systems
Stakeholder engagement and management
Leading project workstream deliverables.
Operational/Essential job Functions:
Should have excellent knowledge of the Exchange Online/2019/2016/2013/, Active directory, DirSync.
Should have PowerShell skills on Exchange Online Commands. Should be able to write scripts and automate any repetitive process.
The candidate should be able to troubleshoot issues related to Exchange 2016 and Windows server 2012/2016 server.
Should have a strong understanding of Exchange DAG, Global catalog servers and replication incidents.
Troubleshoot DMARC, DKIM and SPF issues and coordinate with clients to resolve escalations.
Working knowledge of Security and Compliance Admin Centers.
Should have good documentation skills and able to document the troubleshooting/process related documents for the team.
Should understand IIS functionality.
Having Network/Firewall/F5 knowledge would be an added advantage. Basic troubleshooting skills needed.
Has a basic knowledge and background of all Solutions Architecture technologies, processes, and issues, sufficiently enough to be able to understand how to proceed further and advise us with peer guidance to stakeholders.
Awareness of related policies and standards; Demonstrates basic ability to apply established processes, activities, and techniques; Understanding of the tools and resources available to execute the processes, activities, and techniques.
Basic understanding of reporting and analysis. Ability to use reporting tools to collect data and to provide output with basic interpretation. Examples include breaches of thresholds, service levels etc.
Contributes to and is consulted during infrastructure architectural activities by applying select architectural techniques and technical knowledge. Understands and leverages infrastructure architectural principles for cross-functional purposes. Works with vendors as well as internally.
Demonstrates basic understanding of IT Governance concepts and ability to ask appropriate questions to adhere to governance; Understanding of how governance has been implemented within OIM and knowledge of when to escalate.
Ability to utilize and understand basic capabilities of performance management tools. Ability to create test criteria, validate performance tests
Demonstrates basic ability to apply methodologies and processes to all project work, Understanding of the tools and resources available to support adherence to methodologies and processes.

Understands technology and technical concepts; Produces written materials with a consistent approach and tone; Communicates effectively with stakeholders and project team members regarding technical concepts.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology or any bachelor’s degree4 + years’ experience in a similar role and Enterprise organisation.
Essential
Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbalCertified in core technologies such as Microsoft 365 e.g., MCSASolid experience in Email Infrastructure role or similarIn-depth knowledge and understanding of Exchange, O365, EOP and Ironport Infrastructure.Diplomatic and persuasive with an ability to handle difficult conversations and confidently manage stakeholdersStrong vendor management experienceA strong track record of delivering continual service improvementBe able to communicate effectively, technical issues with technical and non-technical audienceA solid understanding of the ITIL frameworkExperience recording and maintaining incident & requests within a ticketing system
Good to have
Obtained an industry certification e.g., MCSA, MCSE or CCNA
All round experience of infrastructure areas (Exchange server, O365, EOP and Ironport)
Previous management or govemance of Email support.
