Analyst – GPS Pricing & Estimate Group
Job Description
The GPS Pricing and Estimating group supports the cost and pricing requirements of GPS engagement teams in pursuit of both new and existing contract pricing actions. Performs competitive pricing Analyses for opportunities providing a variety of specialized new-business related analyses for leadership. GPS-PEG provides resource estimation tools and guidance to account teams relative to compliance and responsiveness relative to Basis of Estimates.
Work you’ll do
Assists in Interpretations of cost and pricing requirements.
Solicitation requirements reviews — development of questions.
Facilitation, collection, and processing of resource estimates and Cost proposal compliance reviews for non-cost proposals prepared by Engagement Management teams.
Pricing reviews with leadership and Dissemination of Forward Pricing direct and indirect rate information for use in proposal preparation.
Responses to DCAA/DCMA or buying activity proposal inquiries related to rates and factors, or cost/price proposal features.
Bid-specific Competitive Analysis based on the application of publicly available information applied to RFP parameters.
Reviews and assess contractual documents/Solicitation/Statement of work data for accuracy and adherence with internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations. Analyze pricing work build based those documents and communicate discrepancies, and present impacts of findings.
Perform timely tracking and updating the team specific folders and clearing the workflow assigned requests based on priority and urgency.
Track and communicate key issues. Effectively and persuasively communicate with peers and internal leadership.
Manage individual workload to ensure the timely and compliant accomplishment of project deadlines and provide accurate and timely internal and external audit deliverables.
Performs other job-related duties as required.
Qualifications
Required:
Preferred:
Knowledge of Federal Contracting regulations (FAR and DFAR)
Experience developing and managing policy that has organizational impact.
Detail oriented with ability to plan, prioritize and make decisions on multiple time-sensitive projects.
Technical Skills:
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong consultative, articulative and communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in researching issues and articulating the same to the management.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with teams
Shift Timing:
2 PM to 11 PM IST
