Applications are invited for the following posts of Instructors in this Department on purely part-time contract basis at a fixed

salary of Rs. 11,500/- per month (consolidated) for a period of one Academic Year (i.e. for the Academic Session 2022-23) or till the

completion of the course whichever is earlier. The candidates who fulfill the prescribed qualifications can fill the Online Application

Form at the website http://www.gndu.ac.in/lifelongptins/default.aspx and submit the filled-in application form along with fee

deposit slip of Rs. 1180/- and all other required documents in the Department of Lifelong Learning within two days after filling up the

application form. The last date for applying is 30.06.2022 till 05.00 PM. The candidates must also bring a copy of the application

form along with their Bio-Data, Original Testimonials/Certificates/Experience etc. at the time of interview. The date, time and venue

of interview for these posts will be notified later on the university website.

1. Instructor 03 M.Sc. (Fashion Technology/Fashion Designing/Fashion Designing & Merchandising) or its equivalent from any

for Female recognized university. OR

“Fashion Four Years Degree in Bachelor of Design (Fashion) or its equivalent from any recognized university. OR

Designing” B.A. (with Fashion Designing/ Fashion Technology subject)/ B.Sc. (Fashion Designing)/ B. Voc. (Fashion

Designing/ Fashion Technology) with One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Fashion Designing or its equivalent

from any recognized university. OR

Graduation and three year Regular Diploma in Garment Technology/Fashion Designing from the Punjab State

Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training or its equivalent.

2. Instructor 02 Post-Graduation in ‘Textile Design & Apparel Technology’ or its equivalent from any recognized university. OR

for Female Four Years Degree in Bachelor of Design (Textile Designing/Fashion & Textile Designing) or equivalent from

Designing” Graduation (with Fashion & Textile subject) with One Year Diploma in Textile Designing/ Fashion & Textile

Designing or its equivalent from any recognized university. OR

Graduation (any subject) with One Year Post Graduation Diploma in Textile Designing/ Fashion & Textile

3. Instructor 02 Post-Graduation in Cosmetology or its equivalent from any recognized university. OR

for Female Post-Graduation (any subject) with One Year Diploma in Cosmetology or its equivalent from any recognized

“Cosmetology” university. OR

Graduation with One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Cosmetology or its equivalent from any recognized

university. OR

B.A./B. Voc. (with Cosmetology as a Subject) with One Year Diploma in Cosmetology or its equivalent from any

recognized university.

4. Instructor 06 M.Tech.(CS/CST)/MCA/M.Sc.(CS/IT)/MMM or equivalent from any recognized university. OR

for Male/ B.Sc.(IT)/ BCA/ B.Sc.(Computer Science)/ B.M.M. or equivalent from any recognized university. OR

“Computer Female Graduation (with Computer Application subject) with One Year Post Graduation Diploma in Computer

Applications” Applications or its equivalent from any recognized university.

Note: The candidate with One Year Course/experience in Graphics/ Animation/ Web Designing/Web

Development shall be preferred.

5. Instructor 01 MA (English) from any recognized university. OR

for Male/ Graduation with a minimum of one year experience as an IELTS trainer in any IELTS Training Institute/English

“English Female Academy.

Speaking” Desirable: The applicant should exhibit fluency & good communication in the language especially in English

Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking etc.

Note: 1. A candidate with higher Qualifications and experience may be preferred.

2. The number of posts may be changed depending upon the requirement of the department.

3. The appointment may be made on Part Time Contract Basis/Lecture Basis depending upon the number of students.

4. TA/DA will not be paid for attending the interview for the above said posts.

5. A candidate shall have to apply and pay the fee separately for more than one post.
