About Dhwani:
Dhwani Rural Information Systems is a Delhi NCR-based tech advisory and consulting firm focused on the social and development sectors. With a robust team of 150+ ICT4D professionals, Dhwani RIS develops IT applications for NGOs, government functionaries, CSRs, international funding organizations, and others to manage their projects and programs in India and abroad. Our team comprises young, dynamic tech enablers and problem solvers who are development-conscious, including a diverse mix of development professionals, technology enthusiasts, software engineers, and analysts.

About the Program:
The Tech4Good Fellowship is a 1-year program where individuals can use their technical skills for social impact. As a part of the Fellowship, the Fellows will be matched with NGOs based on their training and experience and will oversee the hosting and running of applications. The program, tech operations focused, will provide support for code management tools, cloud server infrastructure, Google Play store account, domain name and email service, and other third-party tools needed. As a Tech4Good Fellow, your responsibilities would revolve around managing you’ll manage the development and deployment of org-level tech solutions for the NGO. Here are some key, and your responsibilities you will undertake.

Job Description for Tech4Good Fellow:
Responsibilities:

• Deploy, manage and sustain Frappe products for the NGO.
• Coordinate with system integrators.
• Oversee software implementation in the field.
• Create user guides, training materials, and FAQs.
• Conduct training sessions for users.
• Support the field rollout of applications.
• Provide Level 1 support for field issues.
• Document bugs and suggest enhancements.
• Coordinate with tech partners for bug resolution.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare monthly insights from platform data.

Requirements

Key Expectations from Tech4Good Fellow:
1. Technical Skills:
o Basic data proficiency in data analysis (Excel/Power BI, GDS etc) and data management

o Basic understanding of tech words like UI, Frontend, Backend, DBMS, Dashboards, Open source etc.

2. Project Management:
o Ability to handle tech operations

o Experience in task planning, execution, and tracking.

o Collaboration with cross-functional teams.

3. Social Impact:
o Passion for creating social impact through technology.

o Understanding of Dhwani’s social issues.

o Ability to develop tech solutions for social issues.

4. Communication:
o Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

o Strong written and verbal communication skills.

o Experience in creating technical documentation and reports.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, computer science or related fields.
• Min 1 year of experience in consulting, tech delivery, data management, or software development.

Job Location:

• The first 3 months include in-office training on Frappe products, in Dhwani’s Gurugram office. After training, the Fellow will be placed in a non-profit in the Delhi region based on the non-profit’s location and need.
