Monitor enterprise systems leveraging Big Data Framework Monitoring data pipelines Work with the development team on production defects fixes Job will require shift working hours (24/7) Engineering degree with 4 – 7 years of experience in operation Experience in advanced java programming with sound knowledge in shell scripting. Specifically, monitoring Big Data data engineering jobs. SQL experience using Hive/Impala framework including SQL performance tuning Experience in doing production support for Big data pipelines, MapReduce framework, Oozie workflows and scoop Jobs and external schedulers such as Autosys/Control-M. Experience in AWS services such as EMR, Glue, S3, Athena, DynamoDB, IAM, Lambda, Cloud watch Good Communication skills – written and verbal with the ability to understand and interact with the diverse range of stakeholders Candidates should be able to work without much supervision.
