Job Duties and Responsibilities: Middleware engineers are responsible for designing and configuring middleware technologies, and software/hardware and managing CI/CD tools, and processes in various business units in DISH. Drive automation at all stages of software development, release, operations, and maintenance. Participate in conversations with various teams to brainstorm new ideas and ways to improve development delivery. Research open-source technologies to help us solve automation problems. Provide technical guidance and educate Development teams on CI/CD, Automation toolsets, and processes. The candidate should be flexible in Rotational Shift. Skills, Experience and Requirements: At least 3-10 years of Middleware technologies IT Experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. Good software development skills, strong analytical abilities, and effective problem-solving skills. Working experience with CI / CD Tools & DevOps Culture. Understanding of various Technologies: WebLogic, Webmethods, and Kafka. Support and enhance existing tools, platforms, and processes. Ex. Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker, Bash Scripting, Alfred (AngularJS/PHP). Integrate Operations tools, and alerting in Applications. Operational experience with Monitoring Tools: Dynatrace, Logz.io. Experience with Containerization & Container Scheduling technologies Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes. Experience with Gitlab CI, Jenkins, and Helm. Experience with Spring, Java, GOlang, PHP, and Python. Experience with Linux Operating System and Bash scripting. Experience with public cloud service offerings (IaaS, PaaS services, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.). Knowledge of Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.). Experience with infrastructure and configuration as code solutions, including Terraform, Ansible, or Cloudinit.
