Disney+ Hotstar Looking For Engagement Manager – Government Ad Sales (SMB) at Gurgaon, Haryana, Full Time

As an Engagement Manager, you work with in creating a larger set of advertisers to establish Disney+ Hotstar’s presence while being an advisor to them on the right solution set to help them drive their objectives. This role entails driving the identified goals in the respective region via market intelligence and innovative ideas to position Disney+ Hotstar as a choice of platform for advertisers and agencies.

In this role, you will own the revenue targets for the SMB accounts for the Entertainment and Sports business of Disney+ Hotstar. You are an excellent communicator with a proven ability to meet goals. You will use an analytical approach to sales management. You will develop and grow some of the largest businesses in India through a customized account management approach. We are constantly looking for highly motivated key account managers who have a sharp understanding of market dynamics and the digital world and can forge strong partnerships with clients to create value for them.

About The Team

The SMB Ad sales team caters to the mid-tier and emerging clients across categories and works closely with them to solve their marketing goals through custom solutions on D+ H. Our team works closely with the clients to understand their business and marketing goals and then provide solutions across the vast landscape of the D+ H ads ecosystem, which work for the client and also help secure ad revenues for D+ H as a platform.

REPORTNG TO: Regional Head (North & East)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Liaison with the right PoCs and establish deeper connections and position Hotstar as a destination to run their ads
• Work with Government Departments to become part of the media rollouts which happens monthly
• Work with internal teams such as legal, S&P, etc, and nurture our approach towards getting this business and scaling this up on the platform
• Scale up the business and build a team to run the business

Skills & Attributes For Success

• Should have a background in managing/working with Government/Political entities
• Ability to drive a consistent charge to move things and change the status quo
• Ad sales experience is not mandatory but would be an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude

Preferred Education & Experience

• MBA with 6-8 years of experience in sales, business development, account management and client relationship management with an understanding of digital sales background
