Local Unit & Position Description:
DNV Business Assurance Group is seeking an Administration Officer (TAdm) Officer to join our Global Technical HUB (GTH) team in India.
DNV Business Assurance Global Technical HUB (GTH), part of Global Operations & Technical, is responsible for managing global accreditation and compliance governance in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
The TAdm officers in the GTH are part of a global MSC technical team and work closely with the technical, sales and operations departments of the market units’ worldwide.
The function reports to the Product Manager.
The primary function of the TAdm Officer is to support the review and verification of DNV Business Assurance services/products/schemes as required by accreditation bodies and standard owners as performed by the GTH.
Key responsibilities/tasks may include:
Ensure that the work is performed in accordance with the quality requirements of the activity, the instructions of the line manager and the procedures governing the Activity;
Review of quotes, reports, logo’s, etc. and verification of conformance with relevant DNV procedures;
Report back and revert non compliances to local units including escalation when needed;
Track overdue assigned tasks such as overdue audits, expiring certifications, upload of reports, completeness of audit records, overdue audit findings, etc.;
Supporting Management in resolving internal/external (e.g. accreditation body) audit findings and support other tasks necessary to ensure compliance;
Provide assistance and guidance to existing and prospective internal clients (local units). This assistance may take the form of issue resolution, as well as interpretation of relevant standards and requirements;
Ensure that the independent nature of DNV Business Assurance is never compromised;
Other duties assigned by management.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred;
4 years of administrative or document control experience required;
Detail orientation and strong organization skills;
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word);
Experience working with customer portals and document repository databases is preferred;
Experience working with certification according to management system standards or chain of custody standards (e.g. FSC, ISCC, GWO, etc.) is preferred;
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
