DP World Hiring for Operator at Maharashtra Full Time

Operate an RTG/RMG in the movement of containers as instructed and in accordance with safe operating procedures, performance targets and standards.

Ensure that DP World Nhava Sheva health, safety and environmental policies and procedures are observed.

Ensure the DP World Nhava Sheva T Security policy and procedures are observed.

Observe the provisions of all-Labour regulations and DP World Nhava Sheva policies and procedures covering working at the terminal.

Contribute to the continuous improvement process and to the meeting of business objectives. Undertake all duties and responsibilities in accordance with DP World Nhava Sheva T policies and procedures.

Undertake all tasks and responsibilities assigned by the SR. OFFICER/ EXECUTIVE – OPERATIONS (YARD SUPERVISION)

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

Ensure RTG/RMG works continuously during the shift and work continues until the relief driver is ready to take control of the RTG/RMG (“hot seat” changeover)

Perform operational and safety checks of the RTG/RMG and the surrounding work area prior to the commencement of work. Identify and report defects to the SR. OFFICER – OPERATIONS (Tower Control).

Liaise with the SR. OFFICER – OPERATIONS (Tower Control) of actual Quay Crane working areas.

Work to the instructions indicated on the radio data terminal located in the RTG cabin, covering ship, housekeeping, and road & rail operations.

Report any damage and/or malfunctions of the crane or of containers/cargo to the SR. OFFICER – OPERATIONS (Tower Control).

As observed. Report any incorrect stacking locations to the SR. OFFICER – OPERATIONS (Tower Control).

Undertake tasks as required during non-driving periods.
