eProductivity Software is looking for an IT Asset Management Administrator , to be based in Bangalore, India.

This position is responsible for administrative duties within the IT procurement and inventory management function, with the primary focus on effective organization, compliance, and management of cost.

Major duties:

Manages the entire hardware and software product lifecycle. This includes

• Maintains records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization’s hardware and software.

• Tracks and renews hardware and software maintenance agreements and warranties

• Tracks compliance and quality throughout the product lifecycle.

• Identifies savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing, and services. . This may include opportunities like product standardization

• Procurement, receipt, inventory and provisioning of software and hardware

• Review and revise standard equipment configuration policies

• Meter and review software and hardware utilization and make recommendations on requirements

• Performs technology research and routine administrative duties as requested

• Interacts with Finance as appropriate

Requirements:

• College degree with up to 3 years of experience in an IT related procurement or asset management area

• Possesses current technical knowledge of IT hardware, software, and cloud offerings

• Good problem solving skills and ability to make business decisions independently

• Good communication skills with the ability to effectively explain complex topics both orally and in writing.

• Excellent in organization and prioritization using appropriate methodologies and tools.

• A solid team player

Preferred requirements :

• Hands-on experience with one or more asset management software

• Proven track record of IT inventory management

• Knowledge of commonly used concepts within software, data center, and/or cloud operations.
