Job Summary

There is an opening in Cyber Security based company in the area of application security.

The team is looking for an Application Security Consultant who will be responsible for ensuring consistent Secure Software Development Lifecycle practices by working closely with product engineering teams to improve the security of company and client applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze apps for vulnerabilities using manual and automated methods, threat modeling, code reviews, scans with SAST and DAST/Open Source tools, and penetration tests

• Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability vulnerabilities should be identified, documented, rated, and communicated

• Develop, enhance, and interpret security tools and standards across the enterprise.

• Evaluate and recommend new security testing tools

• Identify vulnerabilities at scale by developing, curating, and improving application security detections (static and dynamic) Required Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:

• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and CWE 25, with experience in remediation techniques

Extensive knowledge of SAST, DAST, and Open-Source Vulnerability Scanning tools Knowledge of any programming language ( C#, Go, Java, Python, etc.)

• Well-versed in web application security, web, and mobile applications penetration testing, and risk assessment.

• Presentation and communication skills to effectively convey security threats and risks to ANY audience and convince them of mitigation approaches and strategies

• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, able to quickly analyze and offer solutions to issues/problems encountered

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹600,000.00 – ₹1,000,000.00 per year
