PRE ORDER SUPPORT:
Review the RFQ /Tender documents and create Document for Various approval.
Interact with the PMO for the quality and testing requirements specified Tender.
Technical and Price offer consolidation and submission in the customer format online in customer portal or through e-mail.
Attend meeting by visiting the customers when necessary
Carry out sizing and selection using applicable sizing program and data provided by the customer.
Correspond with application experts at other world location as and when required for special applications / prices, and also interact with the factories for testing requirements and delivery period.
Include mandatory spares in the quotation.
Provide customer specification sheet and other technical documents duly filled, signed and stamped.
Include drawings and QAP in the offer where necessary.
Prepare the technical deviation in line with our capability and customer requirements. Also highlight the benefits of our offering.
Clearly mention Emerson’s commercial terms and conditions in all quotations. Highlight deviations, if any, if the customer terms do not match with Emerson’s.
For KOB3 LCS enquiries, interact with the service team, customers and Regulator BU experts for investigating the root cause and proposing the solution.
Call / visit customers for converting the assigned offers to purchase orders.
Make revised offer as and when required.
Submit the weekly and monthly reports in the prescribed format.
POST ORDER SUPPORT:
Immediately on receipt, check the PO for compliance with the offer submitted, and officially inform the customer/Sales Manager/ Dealer in case of any discrepancy. Follow-up for order amendment where necessary.
Pass on the clean order, along with all supporting documents to SOM/ PMO for execution.
Clarify with OE (technical/Part number/buyout quotes – revalidation) if any.
Co-ordinate with Engineering for drawings and details.
Co-ordinate with QA for Quality Plan.
Guide SOM/PMO to provide order acknowledgement and all necessary documents to the customer. Also track the communication between customer and PMO/ SOM for smooth and timely order execution, as well as payment process.
Support sales on BG submission to customer for all the ARC tenders received.
Support QA team for inspection by customer if necessary.
Coordinate customer complaints with Service team. Track for prompt resolution
Education / Experience Required:
Degree in Mechanical/ Instrumentation Engineering with relevant experience.
5 to 8 years experience required
Knowledge / Skills / Competencies:
Strong technical skills and aptitude. Comfortable in leading technical discussion.
Strong sales aptitude. Keen to interact with customers.
Proactive approach and customer focus. Skilled in problem solving.
Learning agility. Keen to learn new products and technologies.
Good interpersonal skills
