Description:Tableau and Power BI Administrator IV:
Application server management, deployments, user access and troubleshooting of issues for Tableau. Establish and maintain the analytics practice, which includes defining Tableau Governance processes, policies, and guidelines. Define roles and responsibilities for managing the organization’s data in compliance with business and/or regulatory requirements. Plan and execute the Tableau deployment and implement the organization’s vision for modern analytics. Review policies and procedures periodically to adapt to and evolve with changing business needs.
Must have at least 8 years experience as Tableau Server administrator2 year experience with Power BI administrationAssist users with troubleshooting of performance issuesExcellent Linux commands and automations knowledgeDemonstrated experience with Power BI and Tableau Server architecture discussionsAssists with application installations, upgrades, and migrations within virtualized environmentsResearches and assists with scaling new data analytics products within the department including, but not limited to R Studio Server, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BIPlanning Disaster Recovery and backup strategiesCollaborate with Technology team members (engineers, administrators, analysts) to design, build, and support all data/reporting/analytics systems, tools and infrastructureProduce and continuously improve reporting and analytics databases/data warehouses to serve a diverse range of consumers: end users, analysts, software applications, and 3rd party integrationsBe detail oriented having extensive integration and server side administration experienceHave relevant experience integrating cloud and on-premise applicationsPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate and work with fellow team members and other functional team members to coordinate and meet deliverables (offshore incl.)Be able to collaborate and work in a fast-paced global team environment with minimal supervision and have the ability to escalate issues in a timely mannerAble to handle shift single handedly, including shift rotations (with night shift) and occasional weekend work for maitenance and deployment activities
