We relentlessly innovate to make the prediction, prevention, and treatment of illness and disease more accessible to millions of people.Position Overview:Evernorths Enterprise DevOps organization is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Ansible Automation Platform Engineering team. This teams focus is on maintaining the Ansible Automation Platform for the enterprise. The team uses Agile Methodologies with a Product Focus.In 2024, the team set many forward-looking goals to improve our customer experience by providing new improvements to the platform onboarding process and advise others during Ansible Developer consultations. Along with that the team is working on consolidating other organizations Ansible Tower or Ansible Automation Platform clusters into a centralized cluster the entire organization will use.Responsibilities:The tools we use as a team are Jira and Confluence for Agile work, GitHub for SCM, WebEx for meeting and Chat, ServiceNow for ITSM, and others.The company is not stagnant, it is evolving, and multiple teams are currently or have already developed API(s) or platforms which allow us to make changes as we need and not sit and wait (e.g. create compute, dns, vip(s), etc).To be successful in this team as a new team member you must be highly motivated. You must understand how to operate in an Agile Team with a product focus. You must understand how to support and maintain from an administrative standpoint Ansible Tower and Ansible Automation Platform. You must understand how to install a new multi-system cluster and how to upgrade it as new releases are made available. Ideally you must have a developer mindset. We are looking for new teammates who can create repeatable automated solutions in support of new objectives. That same mindset can be used to best support our customers. You need to be self-motivated to keep up your skills and we encourage you to share your experience with our team. Our team members can and will at times be responsible to demonstrate/share/teach new concepts in a larger meeting format to other teams within the company.

QualificationsRequired Skills:

• Significant experience with Ansible Tower and / or Ansible Automation Platform.
• Comfort following versioning and release strategies with git/GitHub.
• Competence with bash and scripting with Groovy or Python.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (such as Ansible).

Required Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in job-related field or study
• 3-5 years of experience in platform engineering.
