Position Summary
The Manager of Consulting develops and maintains a technically qualified team of Consultants whose mission is to enhance the sales effort of the Product Sales Team both from a pre-& post sales experience by providing solid services delivery. This is a leadership opportunity responsible for all Professional Services implementation and delivery in the India region.
Primary Responsibilities:
Management Responsibility: Employee management including but not limited to interviewing and hiring candidates for open positions, onboarding, establishing goals, assigning or delegating work, providing on-the-job training, giving guidance to staff, conducting performance evaluations, approving paid time-off (PTO), developing performance improvement plans, and taking disciplinary action.
Liaise with Account Management and Professional Services Sales Teams to support opportunities for Consulting engagements
Taking ownership of critical incidents, coordinating and establishing effective communication between stakeholders
Taking accountability for service delivery performance, meeting customers expectation and driving future demand
Identify new technical skills required to support the delivery needs of customer engagements.
Assist with vendor management for staff augmentation
Achieve or exceed quarterly customer satisfaction, profit margins, and revenue goals.
Review and evaluate Consultants’ professional performance (SOWs, work items, professionalism, work ethics, F5 customer satisfaction)
Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Operational ability in a diverse, large-scale environments
Strong organizational skills
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
Strong resource planning and problem-solving skills
Strong English spoken and written language skill essential – other Asian languages a plus
Additional skill which would be a plus
Understanding of technologies such as cloud services and technologies, network architecture, application availability and security
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years managing a professional services team
Minimum 5 years providing consulting both onsite and remote consulting services.
Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in information technology related field
Industry certifications such as CISA, CISSP, GIAC, PMP a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Duties require the ability to travel up to 50% via automobile and airplane and may require periodically working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
Duties require the ability to utilize a computer / laptop, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
Location: Mumbai or Bangalore or Hyderabad is preferred.

This role involve customer facing engagements and may be subject to additional background check requirements per customer requests. All screenings and results will be subject to applicable law and F5 policies and may be used to determine work assignment or further employment eligibility.
