KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Range Development

Range development basis design brief ,Option plan & range plan in coordination with PH vendors as per the D2S timelines

Spec creation & sharing tech packs to PHs

Coordination with Fabric PH and weaver for arranging sampling yardages

Maintain the right mix of silhouettes, fabrics, cuts, sleeves, necklines etc. in samples based on the buy plan. Fabric innovation balanced with core fabric

Trend Analysis – Regular Market & Competitor analysis to ensure ranges & pricing is in keeping with the market trends

Style wise modifications/comments to be shared with PH/Producer on shortlisted and rejected samples within a week of receipt/review of range

Closure of initial costings

Maintaining sampling tracker and updating it real-time

Co-ordinate with tech team for timely spec creation

Range Review/Presentation:

Ensure receipt of all samples with correct trims as per agreed timelines

Timely colourway closures

Prepare for internal range presentations up to the MRH & consolidate feedback on the range

Photoshoot and cataloguing of new range

Review Fabric qualities with Fabric team post selection & timely handover of swatch for counter sourcing/costing

Review range with QC team

Production

Colourway Closure, Style Detailing, Product changes pre MRH to be completed and handed over to Production

Help support Design Input in case of Fast Chase opportunities

Assist the production team in working on CAD consumptions

Assist in diluting the fabric stock as per the requirement

Documentation:

Prepare and maintain fabric charts

Product Range Catalogue

Timely return of rejected samples and documentation per SPPI requirement

Archiving all Designer/comp samples for future discussion/reference

Sampling tracker to PPC as per D2S timelines

JOB SPECIFICATION: (QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE)

Years of Functional Experience: 2 – 6 years of work experience in Merchandising, Sampling, Product development

Degree/Diploma: B. Ftech / M. Ftech / BE Textiles / BSc Home Science
