Title: Senior Software Engineer

Role: Technical Lead

Industry Experience: 9+ years of relevant experience

Tech Stack: Tech Stack: Node.js, JavaScript / TypeScript, GraphQL, and AWS services such as SQS, Lambdas, EC2 and RDS

Job Location: Pune, India. We will support remote working presently – and will look forward to you joining us at our Pune office once the pandemic subsides.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a technical lead, you are a senior engineer who guides the team in delivering secure, high-quality software.

Build and support high performing agile software teams in delivering complex projects and successful business outcomes.

Help the organization define the product roadmap and tactical direction, balancing individual needs with scope, schedule, and near- and long-term business and engineering goals.

Model a safe, inclusive culture of continuous learning through effective expectation setting, constructive feedback, mentoring, and individual and team coaching.

Desired traits

You have a track record of leading high performing technical teams. You’ve seen the practices and dynamics of a team that can deliver quality software solutions on time and can guide a team to adopt them.

You are an experienced, preferably full-stack technologist with the ability to dive into technical details. You are comfortable with complex data domains, security practices, cloud services, and the architecture and design of distributed systems, especially with respect to the technical stack below –

Frontend – React, Javascript/TypeScript, GraphQL

Backend – Node.js, GraphQL, AWS services (SQS, Lambdas, EC2, RDS)

You enjoy working with a diverse group of people who have strong opinions. You can guide a team towards high quality decisions when they have differing perspectives and ideas.

You are a clear, proactive communicator. You provide business context to engineers and technical context to the broader company.
