About the opportunity

About the role The role is responsible for providing governance, development of common frameworks & tools for Data Virtualisation with specific focus on ‘data’ and ‘data tooling’. This role engages across all engineering development & support teams with the ability to communicate with senior level employees as well as technical product & service owners and be able to work across all levels of the FIL enterprise The function will be responsible for understanding business, data & technology services with a view to create a strategic approach to data management and data virtualisation adoption. Integrate data siloed across the disparate systems, manages the unified data for centralized data access and governance What is expected from you?

• You have excellent software designing, programming, engineering and problem-solving skills
• Problem analysis and resolution – Analytical bend of mind with a focus on Data analysis, modelling and building understanding of complex functional scenarios in data aggregation/transformation ecosystem. Ability to challenge and rectify technical solutions as per functional requirements.
• You have hands on knowledge on SQL, PLSQL, ETL (Informatica), data modelling
• You have the fundamental knowledge on concepts like Data Virtualisation, Data Lake, Cloud Datawarehouse, AWS, data streaming and data api’s.
• Ability, willingness & openness to experiment / evaluate / adopt new technologies
• Passion for technology, problem solving and team working
• Go getter, ability to navigate across roles, functions, business units to collaborate, drive agreements and changes from drawing board to live systems
• Lifelong learner who can bring the contemporary practices, technologies, ways of working to the organization
• Effective collaborator adept at using all effective modes of communication and collaboration tools
