Under broad supervision, conducts analyses and experiments on organic and inorganic substances to determine and evaluate their chemical and physical properties and to investigate their applications. May develop and apply new analytical approaches. May perform special long-term projects of a confidential nature and special analyses on non-routine samples. Provides consultation, training, and trouble-shooting for instrument, software, and engineering problems as required. Role typically requires between 3 and 5 years of experience.

Designation: Chemist- R & D.

Responsibilities:

• Involve in Testing All the Raw Materials & FG as per the test request.
• Performing Chemical Testing based on the test Request.
• Handling Analytical Instruments Like, UV-Vis, HACH Meters & other analytical Instruments.
• Maintaining the AMC for QC-Lab and other equipment.
• Document control (SOP’s and WI’s) and maintenance of logbooks for Analysis.
• Performing Internal Calibrations of the various equipment used in the QC-Lab.
• Developing Method of Analysis for identified parameters from added or existing analytical scope for Raw-materials and Finished goods.
• Training – Identifying the training needs and conducting training program to the team members related to International Methods Like ASTM, AOAC & APHA.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Theoretical & Technical skills in Analytical Chemistry.
• Good Knowledge on Chemistry to support R & D Activities.
• Problem solving and Trouble shooting.
• Impart training on Aspects of Chemistry relevant to the Job function.

Education:

• Post-Graduation in Chemistry/Biochemistry.
