Job Description

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer who will be building out some of FireEyes core Linux-based platform infrastructure: the solution that will connect all our products. You will be bridging the gap between existing on-premises solutions and the latest cloud offerings to ensure customers have access and control of their security solutions no matter where they are deployed.
Working on this solution, using technologies such as Linux, C, and AWS, you will have a chance to work on a truly transformative project within FireEye!

Qualifications
3-10 years of total experience
Strong understanding of networking concepts and their application at scale: IP, TCP, UDP, VPNs, HTTP, load-balancing, PK
Strong programming experience in C, Golang, or a similar strongly typed language.
Good experience in Python or Golang
Strong understanding of cloud technology covering Docker containers and microservices architecture.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. FireEye has teams all over the world, often working from home. Cordiality and good documentation are key!
Solid Linux/Bash skills
Solid ability to write unit and integration tests as part of software deliverables
Solid understanding of security best practices and threat models relating to public-facing APIs / Services
Working knowledge of GitHub best-practices and version control
Ability to run projects using agile development methodologies and tools
Familiarity with large scale and highly-performant solutions
Education: Any Graduate
