Ford Motor Company Hiring for DDI Engineer III at Chennai, India Full Time

We are looking for a DDI Professional to operate and maintain functional and secure DDI infrastructure and services. To participate as a vital part of our global DDI team of professionals responsible for a world-class global enterprise DNS, DHCP & IPAM service.

The goal of our DDI service and of this position is to satisfy the ever-changing, ever-growing demands of a multi-cloud, dynamic compute environment at the speed of the business.

• Follow Change Control documentation and procedures to make changes to DDI systems.

• Understand and use TCPWave and QIP DDI systems to enact changes requested by the business.

• Understand DNS/DHCP & IPAM system performance. Review log files and other performance data for a broad understanding.

• Respond to emergencies and incidents with urgency. Listen and ask good questions. Communicate with DDI Team members and drive to a resolution.

• Learn and use Ford’s Terraform / GitHub DevOps pipeline to manage and deploy DDI infrastructure in the cloud.

• Interact and communicate well with others. Provide assistance when you can. Ask for assistance when needed. Listen well and ask good questions. Be forthright and truthful about mistakes we all make them.

• Maintain high quality technical and procedural documentation.

• Engage customers and peers with quality, concise and clear correspondence.

Must Haves (Required)

• DNS, DHCP and IPAM experience.
