fusionSpan Hiring for Staff Accountant at Remote Full Time

fusionSpan is a fast-growing multinational information technology services company based in the USA. We are currently expanding our presence in Latin America (El Salvador and Costa Rica) and India (Nagpur).
The role is based in our Nagpur office (hybrid and remote: onsite for 2 to 3 days a week). The hours for this role are between 1:00 pm to 10 pm IST Time.
fusionSpan India Pvt. Ltd is the Indian subsidiary for US-based fusionSpan.fusionSpan’s focus is on software development, enterprise CRM implementations, digital strategy, and web design & development. We have an active client list of over 200 organizations based in the United States.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for AP/AR
• Assist in developing and maintaining US GAAP accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financials statements and reporting
• Assist in all aspects of the general ledger, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll
• Responsible for maintaining month-end close procedures, monthly journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Responsible for bank account reconciliations, including credit card account reconciliation
• Maintain financial files and accounting records
• Assist management with various special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
• At least 3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with US Accounting and Tax laws is highly desired
• Knowledge of Quickbooks Online
• Ability to work efficiently independently
• Strong organizational abilities
• Experience with Project Lifecycle and milestone billing is nice to have
• Experience with Project Service Automation (PSA) is desirable but not required
