Job Summary:
The Executive Manager will provide high-level administrative support to the Chairman and Founding Director (Mr. Namith Varma) and other senior staff as well as engage in the day-to-day team operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for senior staff.
Arranges travel and accommodations for executives. Also manages food preferences, wherever applicable and local transport arrangements.
Schedules and attends meetings on behalf of executives, taking notes, recording minutes and receiving feedback from high profile clients while maintaining confidentiality.
Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff.
Performs office tasks including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and performing basic bookkeeping. Managing the company’s human resources department, including hiring new employees and overseeing employee training and development programs Providing leadership for an organization by setting goals and making strategic decisions for the long term success of the business Overseeing the company’s marketing efforts by developing strategic plans for marketing campaigns that align with the company’s mission or values Developing and implementing new business ventures or strategic changes within existing business models to grow market share or increase profits Communicating with board members about major company issues and changes in the industry Monitoring competition to identify new opportunities or threats in the marketplace Working with other departments within the organization to ensure that they are meeting goals and that their needs are being met
Required Skills/Abilities:
Good verbal and written communication skills with effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines with an ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Ample knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, recordkeeping systems and Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
Adequate familiarity with spoken and written English.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
At least four years of related experience required.
