Geltor Hiring for Staff Accountant at Orissa Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile bank accounts ensuring cash accounts are balanced
• Ensure successful month-end close by preparing associated account reconciliations for Accounts Payable. Reconcile Bill.com AP Aging with NS AP Aging
• Reconcile Expensify month-end report with Netsuite Expensify accrual
• Record long-term debt and keep up-to-date amortization schedules
• Record fixed assets and reconcile balance sheet compared to schedule
• Record prepaid and reconcile balance sheet compared to schedule
• Approve expense reports and ensure they are input in a timely manner
• Process invoices ensuring details are accurate and dates match the current accounting period
• Reconciles statements to ensure up-to-date with vendors
• PO, Pricing, charge and payment term comparisons
• Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing invoices, both large and small
• Research and approve new vendors and create new vendor accounts
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
• Any other ad hoc accounting duties that arise within the department including audit support, tax compliance, and projects.

Requirements:

• Month-end close, accounts payable, and general accounting experience
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities through educational and/or career experience
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to build trust and rapport quickly with a wide variety of people
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate with vendors and team members of all levels across the organization
• Strong attention to detail
• Enthusiasm for and commitment to Geltor’s mission and values.

• Experience with accounting software such as Netsuite, Bill.com, or Expensify would be helpful
