• Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels. Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers. Negotiate terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement. Manage claims. Includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc. This may also include purchasing activities.

• Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.

• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.

• • Handling Catalogue Parts – Electrical & ElectronicsKnowledge to work independently to build and deploy commodity strategy at regional level align with Global CommodityManagers.•• Knowledge of semiconductor market.• Researching,Evaluating & Developing potential suppliers for Catalogue parts.• Participate & Lead cost out initiatives for the assigned commodities in order to maximize the BOM cost savings.Work closely Global Commodity management team – build the strong supply base, conclude annual price contracts andgeneral terms and condition.•• Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels.Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers. Required Qualifications

• This role requires advanced experience in the Sourcing & Supplier Management.

• You should have 16-18 years of experience with Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

• The position requires professional expertise with commercial & technical knowledge.

• willingness to travel 40 % (domestic) & work location – GEPC Chennai.
