Job Description Summary

Administrative and Project Execution Support on Import & Export of materials for projects, products, & spares. Coordination with customs, Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Meet project delivery on-time by arranging collection from suppliers, Internal PC regions, freight arrangements, customs clearance for import & export of materials & delivery to customer site/location.

• Coordination with customs / CHA in a GE compliant way of filling the import & export documents.

• Coordination with Transporter for Indigenous delivery to customer location.

• Responsible for 100% compliance in customs tariff during import & export.

• Coordination with internal customers from other functions like logistics, sourcing, PM, finance for smooth execution of the project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with at least 10 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)) for Project management and administration of Import & export of materials incl delivery to customer location, Also local indigenous materials delivery to customer location.

Desired Characteristics

• Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, coordinate with suppliers, internal GE PC customers to bring manage import & export logistics.
