Regional QMS Manager

Gestamp is an international group specialized in the design, development and manufacture of highly engineered metal components for top vehicle manufacturers.

We are looking for Regional QMS Manager for Pune location who is having 10 to 15 years of relevant Experience in Automobile and Auto ancillary Manufacturing industry.

Job Responsibilities and Major Activities / Tasks:
Responsible for establishing and developing Gestamp Quality Management System incl. related directives and standards in all Gestamp India plants and regional office. Provides support to assigned Gestamp Key Process Owners [KPO] at regional level and plant level.

The key role of the function is the coordination and leadership of the assigned QMS network, being responsible for System- and Process auditing (incl. GQS and Processes), according to the rules of IATF 16949 and related Gestamp Directives.

The main missions of the role are to:
Support of the QMS organization to ensure the correctness of Gestamp Directives and documents.

To monitor and to review the effectiveness and the efficiency of the Quality Management System and their Audits (Risk identification and – prevention).

Create together with the process owners the “Drivers, Stakeholders, Risks and Opportunities review”.

To be the head audit officer of the assigned scope and to perform various types of internal audits as preventive and curative measure, incl. Regional/plant functions in the region, in close collaboration with Plant and Regional team.

To create and to maintain a cost efficient, Region wide audit plan (System and process audits) according to IATF 16949 (incl. GQS and Processes) and tracks the appropriate audit execution/ findings follow up.

Close collaboration with assigned process owners/ managers, the Gestamp Document Control Administrator, and plant and regional team to ensure identical understanding of defined standards.

Training and coaching of the process owners/ managers.

Participation to QMS meetings and – workshops, incl. the representation of the organization during customer, supplier on demand.

Anticipation of risks and acting accordingly, incl. escalation if needed.

Review of Customer Specific Requirements and evaluation of consequences for the Gestamp organization.

Has the right to be fully informed about all QMS / Directives-related activities within the assigned organization.

Ensure that the processes required for the quality management system are implemented and maintained. To report to senior management about the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement.

Key Qualifications/Requirements:
Proven abilities in an industrial environment.

Good knowledge of Automotive environment (preferred in sheet metal stamping)

Lead Auditor /Internal Auditor: IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015.

Good/Professional Auditing skill and report preparation.

Process Lead Auditor: VDA 6.3

Other Auditor: LPA, CQI 9, CQI15.

Ability to lead and work independently.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
