Giant Eagle Hiring for Analyst Sr., Supply Chain Network Optimization at India Full Time

Job Summary

Develop capabilities to continuously evaluate and optimize Giant Eagle’s supply chain and solving for critical cost reduction & growth initiatives. Identify and address problem statements related to inbound flow, outbound flow, inventory optimization, SKU rationalization, capacity planning, digital twin / simulation, assessing and developing supply chain cost to serve analytics, and building and maintaining analytic tools.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 4+ years of experience preferred – in fields like analytics, supply chain, operations, consulting, other similar profiles. Ability to work with large datasets, draw powerful insights and drive data driven decisions

• Domain knowledge related to supply chain operations and supply chain systems

• Strong tool knowledge – Power BI, SQL, SAS, R, Python and others

• Education Desired: Bachelor’s degree

Job Responsibilities

• Develop analytical models and tools to solve for supply chain related business cases.

• Conduct ‘what if’ modelling to identify solutions to challenging supply chain problems and provide cost savings opportunities through optimization.

• Create a continuous and validated view of the supply chain network that allows for highly flexible scenarios in partnership with Data Analytics and IT teams

• Develop robust analytical models to be leveraged by the business to enhance operational decision making.

• Recommend strategic and operational actions with fact-based analytics and insights

• Influence the implementation of improvement opportunities to realise benefits/ cost savings by efficient stakeholder management

• Interest to learn and develop supply chain network/ inventory/ transportation models on Llamasoft (coupa)
