Job Summary

Reconcile volume of SKU needed for a category or group of categories to fulfill the demand needs. Analyze item level demand patterns and proactively monitor inventory levels and item attributes and recommend forecast adjustments to Demand Planner. Work in a dotted line reporting framework to achieve goals and objectives.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 3 to 5 years; Retail supply chain operations, retail item forecasting and inventory management
• Experience Desired: Process driven mindset. Must be able to work with large dataset to drive data-driven decision making. Perform item level demand analysis and provide insights for weekly demand planning meetings. Monitor SKUs and highlight exceptions for demand forecast refinement
• Education Desired: Bachelor’s degree

Job Responsibilities

• Detailed review and management of item level forecast, inventories, and POs within the time fence of demand
• Collaborate cross functionally to manage item level exceptions as it relates to vendor and all sources of demand
• Incorporate item level attribute changes into the demand forecast to accurately reflect item movement – slow movers, obsolete, new product and other such
• Review forecast accuracy and provide insights for resolving significant variances
